That is the only conclusion that can be drawn after reading this article, and the only narrative that should be told. This is the umbrella that all of Trump/Russia’s motives and policies fall under — it is the only lens that anything Trump says and does should be seen through, especially how he has exploited the American political system and especially the Republican Party to act against its own self interests in order to defend and advance his own interests.
