The single thing that annoys me the most is the fact that most of America still has no idea WHY Russia would interfere with our elections.
Russia’s motive for interference was laid out plainly by Newsweek on the eve of the election:
VLADIMIR PUTIN: WHY HE FEARS A HILLARY CLINTON WHITE HOUSE
In order to effectively bring down the Trump administration, the court of public opinion needs to be convinced of a motive for Russia to interfere, enough that it forces even the Republican congressional majority’s hand to act.
Right now, many Americans are not fully convinced because the media & the anti-Trump forces are doing a terrible job of setting the narrative and coordinating on messaging, allowing Republicans to fill the vacuum with the narrative that it’s nothing but a witch hunt by Democrats who are bitter because Hillary lost. Also allowing Trump to sell the idea that regressing to our dependency on coal and Saudi oil is in our best interests. The true narrative and motive for Russia’s interference in our elections connects many, many dots in the public conscience. It explains why Trump is rejecting the Paris agreement, why he’s trying to bring back coal, why he’s trying to revive America’s dependency on Saudi Arabia — why he’s trying to regress America back to failed and costly policies.
Most Americans have no idea that we’re now the #1 exporter of oil thanks to the tar sands & fracking boom, which is the real reason why the coal industry is dead. Most Americans are unaware of our long term plan to switch Europe off Russian oil, creating revenue that would help pay down our national debt and fund our infrastructure.
The bottom line is either we go bust or Russia goes bust. Rather it happened to them than us.
If Trump succeeds in sabotaging our long term agenda to earn revenue from Europe, all so that he could save Russia’s economy instead of ours, along with whatever business dealings he has with them by extension like the treasonous orange clown that he is, then we will forever be at the mercy of the austerity scolds in both parties who are exploiting the specter of default due to our rising national debt in order to create excuses for privatization and cuts to our way of life in order to pay down that debt, Greece style.
Which happens to be a mutual interest of the austerity scolds such as the Koch brothers and many libertarian leaning organizations in the Koch wing of the Republican party such as the Cato Institute, which is infiltrated by Russian lobbyists and agents.
